Constructed of bronzed aluminum, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with ribbed arms joined together through the quadrants by stylized sun rays, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, set within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of TREUE DIENSTE FR
